Creating a New Folder or Directory

Windows Explorer® is used for this purpose.

1st: Open Windows Explorer and select the C: drive.: Use [Start] then [Programs] then [Windows Explorer].
2nd: Select the [File] menu at the top right.
3rd: Select [New] then [Folder] and: press [Enter] on the keyboard.
4th: Type the name of your new file or directory.: First it will be placed at the bottom of the list (at the right) in the original directory.; Later it will be placed alphabetically with other files in the directory.
