IN MATH: 1. n. an undefined term in mathematics described by no dimension: no width, no height, no length -- a location (named by a capital letter, coordinate, or coordinates). EX. Point A is the vertex of angle MAN.

IN ENGLISH: 1. n. a spot, place. 2. an idea or thought. EX. That's a good point; maybe you should do your homework more often. 3. v. to indicate direction or location.
