You must show work on questions 1 and 2 and 3 and that includes taking the arc function of each side as symbolized by cos-1( ), written on each side of the equation as shown in dark blue lettering at the bottom right of page 11.13.c.gif shown at the right. To complete the connect-the-dots, shown at the right in 11.13.b.gif, you need not show the work for each problem but you must correctly connect the dots.
