Using Existing ZOOM Setup

Change Your Background (Optional, but suggested for privacy, etc.).

One must "turn on" Virtual Background before it may be changed.

None of this background changing is required. You may choose to use the background visible through your camera or you may simply use the material already in ZOOM. Here existing ZOOM material will be used for editing.

I. Turn on Virtual Background:

a. Go to the Profile Page.

b. Go to "Settings" (in left column).

c. In "Settings," click on Meetings (in left column).

d. In "Settings," in "Meetings," select "In Meeting (Advanced)" (in left column).

e. In the right/center column go down really far to "Virtual Background."
On my screen this is the 46th heading in the list.

f. Slide the slider (on the right) to the right and watch it turn from gray to blue.

II. Change the Virtual Background with ZOOM Material or Images You Have Edited

a. After you have turned on virtual background, open a meeting.

b. Click on the up symbol (^) to the right of "Start video."

c. Choose "Choose Virtual Background."

d. Edit as desired. Settings will remain until you change them. NOT SHOWN.

YouTube Video
The youtube video is the same video as on the ZOOM site. On the youtube page there are other videos that you may wish to check.

Watch the YouTube video (rather than in ZOOM because the images are better)
follow the suggestions, and consider options like:
* color of background,
* business of background,
* centering of background,
* wide screen vs original, and
* "I have a green screen." vs "I do not have a green screen."
